Born in Tuzia, Bosnia in 1972, Denis Azabagic is regarded as one of the best classic guitarists of his generation. He is the winner of nine of the most prestigious international guitar competitions, including the 1995 Francisco Tárrega International Competition in Benicasim, Spain and the 1998 Guitar Foundation of America Competition. Mr. Azabagic also performs in the flute/guitar Cavatina Duo with his wife Eugenia, and has appeared as a soloist with various orchestras in Europe and the United States.
