Luise Walker 1932-34

Luise Walker was an incredible classical guitarist who passed away recently in the last year. She was born in 1910 and began to play the guitar in 1918. She studied at first with Josef Zuth in Vienna. Later she studied under the tutelege of Jacob Ortner. She also took the advantage of studying with Heinrich Albert & Miguel Llobet. Very few individuals reach the level of touch she attained. She concertized all over the world, and was a Professor of guitar in Vienna at the Staatskademie for Musik for decades to the benefit of her students.
