Sabicas: King of the Flamenco Guitar - DVD 37 minutes $19.95
Self-taught child prodigy, Sabicas, pioneered the use of the Flamenco guitar as a solo instrument and defined comtemporary flamenco. Accompanied by Adonis Puerta (guitar), Luis Vargas (vocals), and Los Duendes de Espana, 1969. Includes "Danza Arabe" (b/w), 1966. NTSC, All Regions.
Personal Note: Randy Osborne-the owner of Fine Fretted String Instruments is the voice that made this DVD possible. I pleaded with the copyright owner to not let this performance go out of print as a VHS video, but to change the format to DVD, so that it could be welcomed in today's market. I'm very proud to have done this.
