14 popular works for solo guitar

The history of guitar transcriptions goes back to Francisco Tarrega, Miguel Llobet, Andrés Segovia, as well as Emilio Pujol, Regino Sainz de la Maza and many others.

Although Raul Borges was the first in Venezuela to create a repertoire for the guitar, his efforts were fundamentally directed to universal authors and the composition of original works.

In reality it was Antonio Lauro who made the first valuable arrangements of the popular music of Venezuela.
